The 2023 Midwest Rail Conference "Optimizing Rail Investment" was held August 14-16, 2023 in Toledo, OH. With 150 total registrations and over 30 professional industry speakers, the conference was well attended and very informational. Thanks to the many amazing sponsors, events including the Student Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Outing, Opening Reception, Educational Sessions, Closing (Baseball Game) Reception and Field Visits were well received. The Midwest Rail Conference is back! 2023 conference with theme "Optimizing Rail Investment" will be held in Toledo, OH on the campus of the University of Toledo. Golf Outing, small meetings and conference reception on Monday, Aug 14th and conference technical sessions and closing reception on Tuesday, August 15th with field visits to follow on Wednesday August 16th. Note: Parking Permits are required at the University of Toledo. You will need to get your parking permit prior to parking in Area/Lot 10. You can get your parking permit here. Vehicles must park with their license plate facing the aisle. The license plate on your vehicle acts as your parking permit.
There is construction occuring on the University of Toledo Campus. You are looking for Lot 10 which is on Stadium Drive. Lot 11 is metered parking where you pay by the hour.

The Closing Reception will be held in The Roost at Fifth Third Field the evening of Tuesday, August 15th. Catch the ballgame as the Toledo Mud Hens host the Omaha Storm Chasers during their Hens and Hounds night (every Tuesday home game as a fundriaser for the Toledo Humane Society). The Roost is a great space for relaxing, networking or catching a great view of the game!
